Our goal in the McFarland High School Library is to nurture students who are information literate, curious, critical learners who strive for excellence and contribute positively to the community while concurrently providing our staff with wide and open support.

We hope to make conveniently and comfortably available:
· Books
1. The classics
2. New high-interest fiction to suit all of our patrons
3. Pertinent, up-to-date research books
4. Non-fiction books covering areas of interest and of need to our patrons
· Magazines – educational and of interest to our students
· Computers and Internet access at times convenient to students
· Teacher support
· Teacher access for classroom instruction
· A safe, welcoming, comfortable environment for every patron
Because one learns better under favorable situations, we promise to make the McFarland High School Library a comfortable, safe, happy place to be.
